PRESS RELEASE – National Training Centres Host the 2019 NTC Junior Hockey Showcase

National Training Centres (NTC) is excited to be hosting their 17th annual Junior Hockey Showcase. It will take place March 9th – 15th 2019 at Westwood Arena, Above Rink #5, 90 Woodbine Downs Blvd, Toronto Ontario, M9W 5S6 Canada.

The showcase is an event that is ideal for players born 1999 – 2003 who are interested in taking their hockey career to the next level and want to play in one of the Ontario Junior Leagues: Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League, Ontario Junior Hockey League, Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League, Central Canadian Hockey League.

The Hockey Junior Showcase has been running for 16 years and this year’s line-up is an exciting one.

The theme of the event is What’s your Next…?

NTC Junior Hockey Showcase

The event is made up of both on ice and off-ice events. Players break into teams for testing, drills, practices, and games with 30+ Junior scouts/ coaches/ GM’s in attendance to evaluate, assess and identify prospects for their respective teams.

Throughout the week, there are inspirational speakers, seminars, and lectures to inform the players about new testing, technology, training and analytics. There is a coach’s corners, to allow players to ask questions with a panel of hockey experts.

Dan Blackburn is the founder, of National Training Center (NTC) and the host of the Junior Showcase. Dan has been helping youth live their dreams for the past 20 years. He has trained 100’s of athletes from all levels of hockey including P.K. Subban, Jeff Skinner, Tyler Seguin and John Tavares.
