It is not enough that you train... you need to nourish your body as well!

Banana Bread

INGREDIENTS:
3-4 big bananas (ripe)
1 unbeaten egg
1/4 Cup Butter, melted
1/2 Cup Pure Maple Syrup
2 Cups unbleached flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 Teaspoon Sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Mash bananas – similar to mashing potatoes.
2. Add wet ingredients (egg, maple syrup, mashed bananas)
3. Combine dry ingredients (flour, powder, soda and salt)
4. Add dry ingredients to banana mixture – mix thoroughly
5. Bake
6. Let cool before cutting

Quantity above makes 1 Loaf.
Bake 50 minutes – 350 Degree F

Variation:
Add 1 C of walnuts

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of cooked oats
1 apple
1 tbsp natural nut butter (optional)
1/2 tbsp hemp hearts
Sprinkle of Cinnamon
Splash of Milk (optional)
Drizzle of Pure Maple Syrup (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cook Oatmeal (follow directions on Oatmeal package for number of servings you need)
2. Once Oatmeal is cooked put into a bowl and add sliced apple, cinnamon, hemp hearts, nut butter, milk and drizzle maple syrup on top
3. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Quantity above makes 1 SERVING.
(Just multiply Ingredient Quantity by the number of people eating)

Variation:
Instead of 1 apple
USE:
½ C blueberries
or
½ C strawberries

Yum!

The Green Monster Smoothie

INGREDIENTS:
1 Cup of Milk (Your choice: eg. Almond, Oat, 2%)
Half Banana
Half Cup Strawberries
2 Dates
1/2 (half) Teaspoon Pure Vanilla
2 Tablespoons Chia Seeds, Flax Seeds or Hemp hearts (or combine them all!)
2 Handful of Raw Spinach

INSTRUCTIONS
Blend all ingredients together until desired ‘smoothiness’
